BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ – The Berkeley Heights Business & Civic (BHB&C) organization hosted a celebratory reception on Wednesday evening at Delicious Heights, bringing together business owners and local leaders to mark the success of the Fifth Annual Block Party—and to honor one of its founding members, Paul Neuwirth, who is stepping down after decades of dedicated service to Berkeley Heights.
The evening featured a buffet dinner and drinks in a warm, lively atmosphere filled with appreciation and gratitude. The annual Block Party, held earlier this month, was the organization’s largest and most successful to date, featuring over 100 participating businesses and organizations, record-breaking sponsorships, and the highest attendance yet.
Paul Neuwirth, co-founder of the BHB&C and longtime chair of the Block Party committee, was at the heart of that success. “It was the smoothest-run event I’ve ever been part of,” Neuwirth said during the evening. Behind the scenes, he has played a vital role in coordinating the event from the very beginning—securing sponsorships, promoting the celebration, and providing event infrastructure through his family business, Taylor Rental.
